Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim
anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made
us competent as ministers of a new covenant- -not of the letter but of
the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Over the last 20 years, I have become increasingly amazed at God.
Not only at the fact that He would choose to know me,
but also in His amazing provision for my total welfare.
I am learning that surrender is the only option with this loving Father.
It is proving not to be the death it appears, but instead life richer
than my imagination.
Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling,
fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom I confess.
